Description Technical Specs

This is the Solarforce host and Drop In as developed and tested with The Austin Police Marksmanship Team (APDMT)
It has 22 user selectable mode groups (see mode groups listed in Technical Specs), but the default mode group is 100%-25%-2%. This mode group has 'no memory' -when the flashlight is turned on, it will always start in High Mode.
The output of this flashlight is just over 1250 OTF lumens at 30 seconds. The actual output of each flashlight will be recorded and the information will be included in the shipment.
The flashlight has a 'Turbo Step Down' function which will be set at 3 minutes, at which time, the light will decrease power to extend battery life.
The ability to change mode groups can be disabled by connecting the two silver contacts with silver conductive paint (included). This ensures the mode group will not change during normal use. If the conductive paint is removed by scraping or sanding, the mode group change function will be available again.
Other Features:
interchangeable contacts on the drop in - If a spring is over-compressed or damaged, you can just screw a new spring in (extra springs are included)
Cree emitter in a 2A tint -if you prefer a different emitter or tint, please use the 'questions/info link' to contact me
Wrapped in copper and installed in the host

Options: (for additional emitter options or host color options see 'L2P With PFlexPRO 3.8A')

Host:
L2P - The Solarforce L2P with recess switch and HAIII finish
L2T - The Solarforce L2T with protruding switch boot and rubber grip for the Rogers' Technique

Mode Group Lock Out:
Locked -
You must scrape the conductive paint from the contacts in order to change the mode group
Unlocked -You can change the mode group at any time.

Reflector:
Smooth - well defined hot spot with better throw
Smooth Hybrid -Same throw as the smooth, but the edges of the hot spot are softer
Orange Peel -wider, softer hotspot

Tail Cap:
The standard option will give you the following -Tail Stand Cap with the L2P - S10 Tail Cap with the L2T
The S10 is standard on the L2T, but you can choose the S10 for the L2P
The S6 is available for either the L2P or L2T

Battery:
none -you will need to supply your own 18650 battery
If you choose 1 or 2 batteries, your output will be measured using your battery

Charger:
none -you will use your charger
Xtar MC1 (+$7) -The MC1 is a good quality, basic charger
Xtar VC2 (+$20) -The VC2 is a dual slot charger that gives real time charging info -it can also determine the actual battery capacity

Emitter:
The recommended emitter tint for the APD TAC 22M is 2A -cool white but not the very cool/blue 1A.

Lenses:
The AR lens will increase the output by about 6%.
The Micro-Textured lens will smooth out the beam and increase the output by about 6%.

Additional copper wraps are available as an option. The drop in has been installed with a copper wrap and it can be reused several times.
The additional copper wrap sets are available to wrap other P60 drop ins you may already have.
Each copper wrap set consists of 12"x5/8" 4mil copper and 4"x5/8" 2mil copper.

My Favorite and Brightest Flashlight December 15, 2015
Reviewer: Michael G. from California, USA
Randy answered all my questions and shipped my flashlight quickly.  This light is BRIGHT!  Since the electronics are potted, it will also be very durable.  The Solarforce host features Type 3 Hard Anodizing so it will withstand wear very well.  This has become my favorite flashlight.  Looking forward to many years of use with this light.
