Description Technical Specs Extended Information
This the Short version of the PFlexPRO Advance Program drop in. It is built with the Advance Program driver package described above. With it's advance thermal control, you can safely run your P60 in direct drive mode for maximum output. The positive contact can be easily changed or replaced by simply screwing one out and screwing another in with no tools or soldering. The drop in is fully potted and for maximum durability and reliability. The reflector shaft is polished to enhance thermal transfer to the host. The emitter in mounted on a 16mm copper MCPCB and installed with an additional thermal pad on top of the MCPCB. The thermal pad enhances the thermal flow by providing an alternate, more direct heat path to the reflector. The drop in includes 2 springs and a solid button contact -the solid contact improves fitment of long protected batteries. The drop in also includes 2mil and 4 mil copper with instructions for wrapping and installing in the host. This drop in will turn your P60 host into one of the most advanced and user configurable flashlights available. Available with your choice of emitter and reflector (smooth, smooth hybrid* or orange peel -*see photo of smooth hybrid reflector)

The Short version allows proper fitment into an un-bored Surefire using a 16650 battery or a 'stop bored' Surefire. A 'stop bored' light means, when the battery tube was enlarged, a un-bored 'lip' was left in the battery tube just below the drop in. To check to see if your light is through bored or stopped bored: without a drop in installed, if you can pass an 18650 battery through the battery tube and out the head, it's through bored. If there is a smaller ring of metal between the battery compartment and the drop in chamber, it is 'stopped bored'.

The drop in comes with a 'copper wrap set' which consists of 12" of 4mil and 4" of 2mil copper. The copper can be reused many times before it needs replacing. The additional copper wraps are mainly available for other drop ins you may have and want to wrap with copper.

Designed with excellent attention to detail and materials. Construction was flawless. I had some questions to ask and Randy was helpful and honest. If you need a flashlight or drop in for your host I believe you will have an impossible  time finding anything better. His work surprised me. Absolutely excellent.
